This site is marked on the OS maps as Lisheen-cankeragh (KE008-003----) (little fort of the sheep's head). Immediately SW of this lies a small hut site (KE008-002----).
The hut site to the SW is semi-circular in plan, measuring 3.7m N-S; it is constructed of stone and rises to a height of .4m. A small opening of c2m exists to the S. This hut site may be connected to the promontory.
