Internal diameter 39m This site is situated in boggy land in the corner of a field, with excellent views, especially N, S and E. It is bounded W and S by fieldbanks. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a well-defined bank and exterior fosse. The external height of the bank is 1.2m and internally .9m. The width of the bank at the base varies from 5m-7m. The enclosing fosse, well defined and U shaped, measures 1.8m wide and .6m deep. Two gaps exists in the bank to the NW and SE, measuring in width 2.4m and 8m respectively. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
