Internal diameter 33m N-S, 28.4m E-W
Situated on gently sloping pastureland this site has excellent views in all directions. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank and exterior fosse. NW through W to SW there is no enclosing bank or fosse due to drainage works, and all that remains is a raised area 1.2m above the surrounding land. Elsewhere the maximum height of the bank measures 2.7m externally and 1.3m internally. The fosse, which is steep and U shaped, measures 1.8m in maximum width and 1.4m below the height of the surrounding land. The interior is somewhat overgrown and at a slightly higher level than the surrounding land.
