Mentioned in a footnote in relation to a burial [KE004-062----] excavated in Ballyeagh townland. See Cahill and Sikora (2011, Vol. 2, 43); 'A week after the excavation [of KE004-062----], Lilian Nolan, one of the finders, rang to report the discovery of a second cist by a local who deliberately went searching for it. It had since been covered up by the Gardaí, however, and it was decided to leave investigation of the cist to a later date.'

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
