Internal diameter 29m This sub-circular univallate rath is situated in pastoral land and a good view is afforded in all directions. To the WNW of this site lies a ring-barrow (KE004-001----). The enclosing earthen bank rises to a height of .9m externally and .5m internally, and the width of the bank at the base measures 4m. A slight exterior fosse is to be noted to the N to NW, where it measures 1m in width and .3m deep. The interior is at a slightly higher level than the surrounding land and is wet and boggy. Three breaks are to be noted to the NE, E and SSE, measuring c2m, c 1.5m and c 3m in width. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
