Internal diameter 33m N-S, 34m E-W This univallate ringfort is the furthest E of the Faha concentration of ringforts. Today, it has been cut in half by a fieldbank running in an E-W direction. The enclosing earthen bank has a maximum external height of 2m, an internal height of 2m, and an average width at the base of 5m. The fosse is not visible for the entire site; S of the fieldbank it has been completely ploughed out and no surface trace remains; N of the fieldbank it appears as a somewhat shallow, though clearly definable depression. The width of the fosse measures 2m and its depth below the surrounding land measures .8m. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 132. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
