Described in the Urban Survey (Bradley et. al. 1986, 286) as a ‘large limestone plaque (dims. H 0.8m; Wth. 0.6m; T 0.18m) decorated in false relief with the arms of Fitzgerald. Lying on the ground at W end of the nave (KD037-017003-). The Fitzgerald arms are on a heater shaped shield with helmet and lynx above. Below the shield in the lower corners are two small shields; the left one has the arms of Fitzgerald impaling Keating while the right has the Fitzgerald arms impaling Geidon. Below are the initials: I K 1630 SG’ (Fitzgerald 1899-1902, 240-1). Compiled by: Caimin O’Brien Date of upload: 14 September 2016
