In level tillage in a bend in a small E-flowing stream. Visible on 1970 aerial photograph (CUCAP BDH 66) as the cropmark of a of a broad fosse defining a rectangular enclosure defined by a cropmark of a broad fosse (est. c. 50m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE); possibly a moated site.
