One of two possible cross bases (KD032-044011- and KD032-044012-) recorded by Fitzgerald (1899-1902(f), 161 (D)) in ‘Killeen Cormac’ burial ground (KD032-044----), and described as standing, ‘… 21 in. [c. 0.53m] above the ground [with] a socket at the upper end 7 in. [c. 0.18m] by 9.5 in. [c. 0.24m], and 5 in. [c. 0.13m] deep for the insertion of the missing portion … one side of the socket is broken away’ (op. cit. 160). It was not located.
