Off the summit of a hill on a gentle N-facing slope. When inspected in 1972 (SMR file) it was a large roughly circular area (diam. 125m) enclosed by an irregular earthen bank (Wth 1.8m; int. H 1.2m; ext H 0.6m) with traces of an outer fosse visible at E. A large depression, interpreted as being the result of quarrying, was noted in the SW sector, and there was a second, smaller depression near the enclosing bank at N. The monument was subsequently levelled and no visible surface trace survived in 1987 (SMR file).
