On the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map this earthwork was located in a woodland plantation on the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge located 330m to NNE. Bullaun stone (KD029-010----) located 100m to S. Outline of circular-shaped sunken area (approx. diam. 10m) enclosed by a curving bank visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-13. Could be the remains of a pond-barrow or a designed landscape feature such as an ornamental pond associated with landscaping of the demesne lands of Mount Cashel Lodge.
