What is recorded here

On the E edge of a dried-up watercourse, which may have formed part of an early ecclesiastical enclosure (KD029-005002-) immediately outside, to SW, of a graveyard (KD029-005004-) and medieval church (KD029-005001-). According to Jackson (1979-80, 154-5) the well was a pilgrimage destination and famous for its cures. Several natural springs rise in this area.
