In 1938, a short rectangular cist (L c. 0.6m; Wth c. 0.38m; H 0.46m) was found in a sand pit. It contained the cremated remains of an adult female, a foetus and three teeth of a year-old child. (Price 1938, 293-4; Waddell 1970, 119) Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 14 May 2013
