In open, level, wet rough pasture. A large, roughly circular area (int. diam. c. 48m) is defined by the remains of a shallow internal fosse (Wth 2.2-3.4m; D 0.4m) NW-NE, and by a low, broad, outer bank (Wth 4.5-6.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.3-0.6m) NW-NE, which is reduced to a low scarp (H 0.2-0.6m) elsewhere. The fosse and bank terminate at a heavily poached area at NW which may be an entrance. The S interior and S limits are overgrown with whins and heavily poached by livestock. A possible pond-barrow (KD027-042----) lies c. 65m to the WNW and a possible ring-barrow (KD027-043----) lies c. 35m to the NW.
