At the top of a short low, but fairly steep, SW-facing pasture slope. A small stream flows SW some 20m to the SE. A poorly preserved rectangular area (26m NW-SE; 22m NE-SW) is defined by a heavily overgrown, low earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; Wth 1.3-1.8m; ext H 1.4m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.5-1.5m) mid way along the NW and SE sides, and by a well-defined outer fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.5-0.9m) which has been infilled along the SE side of the monument.
