On improved, drained and level pasture c. 120m E of the S-flowing River Barrow. Shown on a 1759 map of Monasterevin Demesne by Scale (NLI Mss 21 F 21 (1-36) Map 1) as a substantial rectangular enclosure defined by a broad and apparently water-filled fosse. Only a low, rectangular earthwork survives (L 31.2m N-S; Wth 23.2m E-W) defined by long, low scarps (H 0.2-0.5m), with no visible surface trace of an enclosing fosse.
