What is recorded here

A note in JKAS (1896, 453) refers to two small pillar stones in Harristown Demesne as being of antiquarian interest. Killanin and Duignan (1967, 319) also mention a granite standing stone in this townland. The exact location of this monument is unknown. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 06 July 2012

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
