On level ground. Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD, 1999). A U-shaped area (ext. dims. L 5m NW-SE; Wth 3.8m) open towards the SE is defined by a shallow fosse (Wth 1.5-2m; D 0.2-0.4m). Two small, parallel, sub rectangular depressions lie 3m to the SE in line with the arms of the U and appear to be part of the same structure. May be the result of military activity on the Curragh.
