In 1903, sherds of an encrusted urn were recovered from a possible cist during gravel extraction at a large pit used by the Great Southern and Western Railway Co. (O'Grady 1903-5, 313; Waddell 1970, 120). Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 17 April 2012
