On a low, level spur which projects N and which is defined along its NW and NE sides by two narrow, shallow wet 'gullies', near the centre of a large, disused horse-exercising track. Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD, 1999). A small, level circular area (diam. 4.8m) is defined by a shallow fosse (Wth 2-2.2m; D 0.2-0.3m). A second, similar site (KD022-074----) lies 13m to the SSE. This is one of a group of six similar, closely associated monuments (KD022-072---- to KD022-077----) in this part of the Little Curragh.
