In 1990, human remains comprising a skull and skeletal fragments were noticed in the section face of an earthen field boundary. The remains were apparently lying in a depression in the field bank and were associated with some animal bone and a thin stratum of charcoal-like matter. The field to the E contains a green space which is known locally as a burial ground, which consequently has not been developed. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol 2, 483)
