Late medieval limestone panels (KD022-029062-, KD022-029063-, KD022-029064-, KD022-029065- and KD022-029066-) set in the N transept wall of the modern Carmelite church may have originated in the earlier Carmelite Friary (KD022-029007-) immediately to the S, however, acording to Bradley et al. (1986 Vol. 3, 244-6), they are said to have come from the Franciscan Friary (KD022-029006-).
KD022-029065- is a rectangular panel (H 0.49m; Wth 0.61m) decorated in relief with undulating grape vine on the left and two animals. On the right is a centaur-like figure with a man’s head and long beard, a long neck and body with two human hind legs. The knotted tail ends in a fleur-de-lys. There is a small animal, possibly a monkey, at the base of the panel.
