What is recorded here

In a graveyard (KD022-018001-). Shown on Taylor's 1783 Map of County Kildare as being in ruins. The present church is modern, replacing an older, medieval church of which there is no visible surface trace. It may have stood on the slightly higher ground to the S of the church. An architectural fragment reused as a burial marker may have come from the older church; a round window head (Wth 0.5m; H 0.35m; T 0.18m); while a window transom (L 0.65m; Wth 0.2m; H 0.2m) may be from the nearby Lackagh Castle (KD022-017----), c. 35m to the WSW.
