What is recorded here

According to Bradley et al (1986 vol. 4, 344, 359), Naas was the site of an Early Christian monastery known as 'Cill Corbain' or 'Cill Náis', the former's name being preserved in the present day Corban's Lane, whose curving course may preserve the line of an early ecclesiastical enclosure. However, the precise location of the monastery is uncertain. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 10 June 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
