What is recorded here

Although not recorded on the 1838 or 1939 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, a 1908 OS 25-inch map shows an oval area (est. diams. c. 45m N-S; c. 35m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank. Near the S end of a narrow but moderately steep-sided pasture ridge, and containing a possible church site (KD019-026001-) and a graveyard (KD019-026002-). No visible surface trace survives. Two cist burials (KD019-0009---- and KD019-058----) were also discovered in the immediate vicinity. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 10 June 2011
