Two cists were found; one (KD019-009----), was uncovered c. 1870 and was described by Fitzgerald (1909-11, 104) as a 'slab-lined chamber which contained a skeleton'. The second (KD019-058----), discovered in the same general area in 1982, was excavated by Manning (1985-6, 484-91). Both cists were in the immediate vicinity of the site of a possible church (KD019-026001-), graveyard (KD019-026002-) and enclosure (KD019-026003-). Near the S end of a narrow but moderately steep-sided pasture ridge with a commanding view over the surrounding countryside.
