On a narrow, level terrace near the S-foot of a long gentle hill-slope in mixed tillage and pasture. A poorly preserved, heavily overgrown, oval earthen mound (ext. diams. 46m E-W; 31m N-S; H 1.2m at W-2.2m at S; surface diams. 17m E-W; 9m N-S) has been partially quarried away along E and S where poaching by sheltering livestock reveals a lot of boulders and small stones in its composition.
