On a narrow tillage spur projecting W from the W-foot of Grange Hill (OD 743 feet), c. 100m SE of a possible rath (KD017-038----). A very overgrown but otherwise fairly well-preserved, almost square area (dims. L 60m NE-SW; Wth 58m NW-SE) is defined by a grass and thorn covered, steep-sided bank of earth and stone (Wth 2m; int H 1.7m; ext H 2.2m) with an entrance gap (Wth 2.8m) mid-way along the SW side, and a by a broad outer fosse (Wth. 6-7m; D. 1.5m).
