On level, mixed pasture and tillage. Shown on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map as a circular area (ext. diam. c. 70m) defined by a bank, which by 1908, as shown on the latest ed. the map, had been altered into an oval area (ext. diams. c. 70m NW-SE; c. 50m NE-SW) defined by a scarp. Described in 1955 as a slightly raised area defined by a bank and fosse, which by 1957 had been levelled and ploughed during land reclamation works (SMR file). The monument is visible as a low, oval area (ext. diams. c. 60m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW) defined by a long, low scarp (max. H 1m).
