According to the OSL (Herity 2002, 14, (41)) 'There is a small graveyard in the N.W. corner of the demesne … . The common name for it among the people is "reilicín" ie "little relic", or cemetery.' On a gentle E-facing slope in tillage which was formerly wooded demesne land, as indicated on the 1st ed. (1838) and latest ed. (1939) of the OS 6-inch map. A circular area (diam. c. 35m) is defined by a low scarp (H 0.5m) with iron railings, outside of which is a narrow headland (Wth 2m), the whole being enclosed by electric fencing. The interior is virtually inaccessible and completely overgrown with trees, nettle and briar, and fallen trees have damaged some headstones. The legible grave markers date from the 18th and 19th c. A church site (KD015-003001-) lies to N of centre.
