On a slightly raised, pasture 'headland', skirted by the N-flowing Morell River c. 150m to the E, and by a N-flowing tributary of the Morell c. 200m to the W. A circular area (int. diam. 19.5m) is defined by a low, earthen bank (Wth 1m; int H 0.3m; ext H 0.8m) and a shallow outer fosse. A causewayed entrance at the SW, noted in 1955, (SMR file) is no longer visible. Two fullachta fiaa (KD014-038---- and KD014-053----) lie c. 150m to the SSW.
