Near the top of a long, gentle, SE-facing pasture slope. Shown on the latest ed. (1911) of the OS 6-inch map as a circular area (est. diam. c. 50m) defined by a fosse which was still visible in 1955 when a causewayed entrance was noted at E (SMR file). A 1969 aerial photograph (CUCAP AYP 58) shows the cropmark of the fosse of the by then levelled monument, together with the cropmark of a possible surrounding field system (KD013-003002-). No visible surface traces survive.
