On a gentle N-facing slope in tillage. A large oval area (int. diams. 60m N-S ; 54.7m E-W) is defined by a low scarp (H0.6m) NW-N-E, and elsewhere by a later earthen field boundary bank and an external drain which may be a recut fosse. The featureless interior rises gently towards the S and was ploughed on the date of visit (SMR file).
