According to O'Leary (1904, 172-3) stones from Clonagh Castle (KD003-017----) were used to build 'Kilshanchoe church'. This church has not been identified, but may possibly be the 'R.C. Chapel' shown on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
