On a gentle S-facing pasture slope. A large, fairly well-preserved, sub-circular area (int. dims. L 59m N-S; max Wth 58m E-W) is defined by an overgrown inner earthen bank (Wth 4.8m at S-7.4m at E) NNE-SW which is reduced to a scarp (H 2.5m) elsewhere, by an overgrown fosse (Wth 4.5m at E-7.7m at W), and by a second, outer earthen bank (Wth 4.3m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 0.9m) SW-NW. There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) at NE. Later field boundaries radiate off the monument at SE and W. Visible as densely overgrown on a recent aerial photograph (OSi Orthophoto 2005). Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 10 June 2011
