On a level crest at the SE end of a low, NW-SE pasture ridge. A ruined castle (KD003-012----) is visible c. 200m to the SE. A sub-rectangular area (dims. L c. 50m E-W; Wth c. 40m ) is raised slightly (H 1m) above the surrounding ground and is enclosed by a modern stone wall. It contains a ruined church (KD003-011001-) outside of which a possible 17th century grave slab (KD003-011003-) was previously recorded. Legible grave markers date from the 18thC and the graveyard is still in use, with burials concentrated to the S of the church. (CUCAP AYM 7 (1969))
