To the SE of a cashel (GA128-057----). When initially inspected in July 1982 it was thought that a stepped passageway leading to a drystone-built chamber might have been the site of souterrain. A re-inspection in September 1991 confirmed that this was just a well. It is known of locally as a well. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 11 January 2018
