Part of the monastic complex at Kilmacduagh: located c. 100m to the SW of the cathedral (GA128-034004-). This building (8.5m E-W; 7.3m N-S) is almost square in plan. Apart from its foundation lines, only a short section of the original N wall (L 2.8m; H 3m) survives. It is composed of undressed mortared blocks with a rubble core and is visible at the E end of the wall. Modern drystone walls now overlie the foundation lines and there is a modern entrance in the S wall. (O'Flanagan 1927a, Vol. 2, 164-5)
