On a low hill overlooking marshy land to the N. Subcircular rath (25.3m NE-SW; 22.3m NW-SE), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank and fosse are visible all round. No visible surface trace survives of the outer bank from S through W to N and it is overlain by the townland boundary from N through E.
