What is recorded here

On an E-facing slope in the grounds of Cloonmoylan House. Known locally as the ‘Druid's Altar’, this upright inverted T-shaped undressed slab (H 2.16m; base Wth 0.96m; Wth at top 0.45m; T 0.09m) is aligned N-S. Possibly a standing stone but it may also be a folly. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 17 December 2019
