On the S-facing slope of a hillock. Marked on the 1920 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an irregular enclosed mixed tree plantation (c. 65m; E-W; c. 44m N-S). However, according to local information there was formerly a ringfort and souterrain (GA125-115001-) located here. The field was bulldozed and the trees were cut down several years ago. No visible surface trace survives.
