In undulating farmland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular hachured enclosure (diam. c. 35m) and on the 1921 edition as an unenclosed circular mixed tree plantation (diam. c. 52m). In the early 1960s it was described as a cashel defined by an earth and stone boundary and a souterrain (GA123-020001-) was noted in the centre of the interior (SMR file). The trees have since been removed and no visible surface trace of the cashel survives.
