What is recorded here

In mixed farmland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a large subcircular enclosure (c. 77m NE-SW; c. 75m NE-SW) with a wide gap at SW. On inspection in September 1982 no visible surface trace was visible and a silage pit was evident in the interior. However, on the OSi digitalglobe AP the cropmark outline of the enclosure is clearly visible as a darker band of vegetation. A large shed now also occupies the interior.
