In tillage. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. On the 1922 edition is it more irregular in plan and a field boundary is incorporated into it from NE to S. (c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W). On inspection in September 1982 no visible surface trace survived and a number of the field boundaries in the area had also been cleared. However, when viewed from a ridge to the S a circular cropmark was marked the outline of the site. According the landowner, there was a ‘mound’ here and an ‘L-shaped souterrain’ (GA122-064001-), which he filled in.
