In pastureland, at the base of a slope on the E side of a marshy hollow. This well-preserved spring well is enclosed by a small wedge-shaped chamber (1.4m N-S) that opens to the NNE (Wth 1.3m; H 1.6m) and narrows towards the rear (Wth 0.5m; H 1.1m). It is roofed with three broad thin limestone lintels (max. L 1.36m; Wth 0.5m; T 0.15m) and five stone steps lead down to the water. The side-walls are constructed of heavily mortared roughly coursed limestone blocks and the E side is bulging inwards. No votive offerings were noted but a whitethorn bush is growing close by to the S.
