This monument came to light during the course of fieldwork on the AranLIFE Farming Project (2014-2018) (see www.aranlife.ie). It is located at the SW end of the island at the base of a terrace. A small water trough has been built to its E. It consists of a small roughly oval-shaped mound of earth and stone (13m NE-SW; 4-6m NE-SW; max. H 1.3m) with a central hollow (Wth 3.9m) that opens to the WSW. Another similar mound (GA120-044----) lies in the next field, c. 20m to the SW.
