On a gentle NW-facing slope in an area of small fields in Móinín na Ruaige, Inis Meáin. All that survives of Kinahan's 'Ointigh ... called Ballylinaghaun' (1869d, 29) is a corbelled and lintelled ope (Wth c. 1.3m, H 1.7m), now blocked, which is visible in N face of a notably thick (Wth 1.5m) field wall. The 'underground chamber' mentioned by him immediately to E is probably a natural 'Cave' (GA119-095003- now closed) which is shown on the 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map. A midden (GA119-095002-) is associated.
