Associated with an enclosure (GA119-024001-). Kilbride (1868) documents two clochans: (a) apparently on the line of the enclosure, it was investigated in 1867 and proved to be of 'a quadrangular shape on the inside' (c. 2.5m by c. 2.65m, H c. 2.45m). The corbelled roof was then intact and there was an entrance, with a stone-walled passage outside it, on eastern side; (b) c. 5m to WNW, and within the enclosure, is a second mound of limestone (E-W 12.2m, N-S 10m, H 1.65m) crowned by a flat rectangular slab. This clochan was already 'in ruins' in the late 19th C as a result of the insertion of burials (GA119-024003-) into it. (Westropp 1895.264-5; Robinson 1980)
