What is recorded here

Adjacent to the S bank of a stream in undulating pastureland. Named ‘Tobernaglora’ in Gothic script on the 1838 and 1947 editions of the 6-inch OS maps. On inspection all that was visible was a well lined with a cement pipe, which was covered over with a sheet of metal and weighed down with a large boulder. Nothing was evident to indicate that was venerated. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 18 April 2023
