On a prominent ridge overlooking lower pastureland to the N. Subcircular rath (43m N-S; 39.3m E-W), in fair condition, defined by a bank and external fosse. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at N. There is a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4m) at ESE.
